Beloved around the globe, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is a winner! With a dark garnet hue and a nose of red fruits this wine is robust and smooth. This blend is is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon juice and 25% Merlot juice. The addition of Merlot to the blend adds a mellowing effect. The finish is dry with hints of chocolate and tobacco. A great afternoon wine that also stands up well to pasta dishes and red meats.

This Californian wine comes to us from Mosti Mondiale, a Quebec-based importer of premium international grape juices, since 1989. If you have made wine at a Vintner's Cellar store prior to their closing, you will find this Gold Medal Series to be identical to the Gold Medallion wines you were making. Mosti Mondiale makes both lines!
